1. What is the New Lab-Start-Up Programme?

This is a programme designed to help people, setting up a new lab to receive the support they need along with an ability to source all their products efficiently from one source at very competitive prices. In addition to the individual offers, this year we have also developed of support services to help you save more time & money. In fact under this programme there is the potential to save in excess of €50,000.

2. What does the Lab Start-Up programme offer?

In addition to potential savings of over €50,000 and guidance from your dedicated Fisher Scientific sales person, the programme also offers:

• Own manufactured chemicals
• Free product
• Fisherbrand vouchers

3. What are the criteria for eligibility for the programme?

Individuals must either be:

• Setting up a new lab,
• Expanding or renovating your lab,
• Relocating to new premises
• Or in receipt of first time grant

4. Are there any additional incentives to the Lab Start-Up programme?

Yes. If you spend €2,000, you will receive €500 of Fisherbrand vouchers. When you spend €10,000, you will receive a further €500 of Fisherbrand vouchers. When you spend €20,000 you will receive a further €500 of Fisherbrand vouchers – making a potential total of €1,500 of Fisherbrand vouchers.

5. When must I place my stocking order?

The stocking order must be placed within 6 months of the date of the account being opened.

6. How long have I got, after placing my initial stocking order, are the offers valid for?

The offers are valid for up to 6 months after the first order has been placed.

7. How long have I got to claim free product?

All free products must be redeemed after the sixth month period of the account and before four weeks after account deactivation.

9. How long does the registration process take?

If you already have a Fisher Scientific account you will receive a welcome letter with your unique Lab Start-Up account number on it. Please note your Lab Start Up account does not become active until you place your first order. This ensures that no time is wasted between your account start and end dates. If you are a new Fisher Scientific customer, we are required to conduct a screening review prior to setting up your profile. Your Fisher Scientific representative will contact you and let you know what documents are required for the screening review. The sooner we receive those documents, the sooner we can process your New Lab-Start-Up request.

10. I have received my unique account number but my new lab set-up date was delayed and I won't be able to place orders until next month or later. Can my contract start date be delayed so that I can take advantage of the full 6 months?

Yes, if you haven't placed any orders yet, your account will not have been activated (see also FAQ 9) therefore it won’t be affected by any delays in setting up your new lab.

11. My contract has expired. Can you renew or extend my contract?

No. It is important to ensure you take advantage of all the Lab Start Up offers you need within 6 months of your first order being placed.

12. How can I place an order and receive the Lab-Start-Up offers?

• Phone/fax – When ordering via phone or fax, you need to reference your unique Lab Start-Up account number
• Online – Important – when you place your Lab Start-Up orders on-line you MUST include your unique account number

1. The only terms and conditions relating to the Fisher Scientific New Lab Start-Up Programme (the Programme) are those set out below. In relation to any question affecting eligibility or entitlement under the Scheme, the discretion of the Fisher Scientific authorised representative shall be final.
2. To be eligible for the Programme, individuals must either be:
       a. Setting up a new laboratory; or
       b. Moving to a new laboratory; or
       c. A first-time grant holder; or
       d. Renovating your lab
3. Eligible individuals must place an initial New Lab Start-Up order of at least 2000 € with Fisher Scientific to be entitled to claim the promotions as detailed in individual product offers.
4. New Lab Start-Up offers are only valid up until six months after the first order has been placed. During this six months all purchases made on the NLSU account number will be accumulated in order to receive a maximum of three 500 € Fisherbrand vouchers.
5. When redeeming Fisherbrand Vouchers the value of free product must be calculated using the current Fisher Scientific list prices for the year. Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other Fisherbrand New Lab Start-Up offer. Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other Fisher Scientific promotion. Voucher only applies to Fisherbrand consumable products. One Voucher only per single order. Voucher is available to New Lab Start-Up customers only and all free product must be claimed in a single redemption. Each voucher has a validity of six months from date of issue.
6. When placing a New Lab Start-Up order, please include your unique account number on all New Lab Start-Up paperwork. Please also include Product Claim Forms where relevant.
7. Prices are valid until 31st March 2018 and may be subject to change without prior notice.
8. While Fisher Scientific will take all reasonable steps to avoid alterations to current offers, no guarantee of this is given as offers are subject to change without notice.
9. In the event of cancellation of a New Lab Start-Up order, Fisher Scientific shall be entitled at its option to either:
       a) Reclaim all free goods supplied under the Programme; or
       b) Issue an invoice for the value of all free goods supplied under the Programme at Fisher Scientific list prices.
10. All sales will be subject to our standard Terms & Conditions with payment due within 30 days of the invoice date.
11. The Programme is available to direct customers of Fisher Scientific and may not be used in conjunction with any other Fisher Scientific promotional offer.

GE Terms and Conditions

1. Offer is only open to new GE customers not currently purchasing GE product
2. Free samples are not available to customers in Italy
3. Restrictions apply. Offer valid for start-up labs only. Limit one offer per lab.
4. 50% off your first order of GE product up to 2000 € (based on GE list prices) when all GE Terms and Conditions are fulfilled.
5. By registering, you warrant that you are not prohibited by employment, contract, or law from accepting a gift from GE Life Sciences.
