Röhrchen und Fläschchen sind in den meisten Labors unverzichtbar. Probenfläschchen (auch als Probenröhrchen bezeichnet) sind eine spezielle Variante dieser Behälter, die zum Schutz und zur Aufrechterhaltung der Integrität ihres Inhalts verwendet werden.
Welche Art von Probenfläschchen gibt es?

- Mikroprobenfläschchen und -verschlüsse für kleinere Probengrößen bis zu 2 ml
Die meisten Probenfläschchen haben einen flachen Boden mit geraden Seiten für einen festen Stand auf dem Labortisch.Es können jedoch auch spezielle Probenflaschengestelle verwendet werden. Probenfläschchen besitzen oft ein spezielles Profil, um das Totvolumen über der Probenoberfläche zu minimieren. Kleinere Fläschchen können zur verbesserten Probenrückgewinnung im Inneren konisch geformt sein. Probenfläschchen werden oft in Sets in aufgeteilten Gestellen geliefert, um die Inventarisierung und Identifizierung zu vereinfachen. Sie können zudem steril oder vorgereinigt sein, um die Anforderungen verschiedener Zertifizierungen und Vorschriften zu erfüllen.
Glas-Probenfläschchen aus Borosilikatglas Typ 1, Klasse A haben einen geringen Gehalt an extrahierbaren Stoffen und bieten eine hervorragende chemische Beständigkeit, während Probenfläschchen für weniger anspruchsvolle Anwendungen aus Kalknatronglas hergestellt werden. Kunststoff-Probenfläschchen werden aus Polypropylen, PFA, LDPE oder PPCO gefertigt. Die meisten Probenfläschchen bestehen aus Klarglas, für lichtempfindliche Proben sind jedoch auch Varianten aus Braunglas erhältlich.
Probenfläschchen werden mit oder ohne Verschluss geliefert, wobei die Verschlüsse zur Minimierung von Kontamination entweder separat verpackt oder bereits aufgesetzt sind. Bei den Verschlüssen von Probenfläschchen kann es sich um Schraub-, kraftschlüssige oder Schnappverschlüsse handeln, die aus Polyethylen, Polypropylen, schwarzem Phenol oder Aluminium bestehen. Verschlüsse können mit einem Gummi- oder einem PTFE-beschichteten Septum versehen sein.
