Description
Hydrodehalogenation, Rosenmund reduction, asymetric hydrogenationPalladium, 5% on barium sulfate powder is used as a catalyst for hydrogenation reaction. It is also used to catalyze the hydrogenation of acyl chlorides to aldehydes. Further, it is used in the Rosenmund reduction.
