Description
Neodymium is used in coloring glasses and for doping some glass lasers since it transmits 90% of the blue, green, and red light rays. Neodymium compounds are used in glass coloring, permanent magnets, capacitors, infrared filters, resonators, Catalysis (diene polymerization), laser materials. Neodymium(III) oxide is used to dope glass, including sunglasses, to make solid-state lasers, and to color glasses and enamels.
