Manufactured according to Eur. Pharm. Chapter 4 (4.2.2) and prepared in an ISO 9001 facility. Lead Nitrate, 0.1M, EP Grade, Reagecon™ is a ready-to-use volumetric solution with 33g/L Pb(NO3)2 in water for use as a laboratory reagent and oxidizing agent.

Lead nitrate is a water-soluble lead(II) salt. It is a toxic compound that functions as an oxidizing agent and is used in making other lead compounds. It disassociates into its constituent ions, Pb2+ (aq) and NO3.  This solution is prepared by dissolving 33g of lead nitrate into water and diluting to 1L.
